INTEGRATED SEAL, NO CRIMPING ORDEAL The revolutionary FOXX Connector solves two connector problems: 1 Cannot Dislodge FOXX Connectors feature an integrated silicone seal that virtually eliminates any potential for the seal to dislodge while also preventing cold start air/oil leaks. 2 No Crimping FOXX’s quick-connect design eliminates the need for “crimping” and all of the hassles and costs that come with it. FOXXTRAP INTEGRATED SEAL No more out-of-place seals or leaks at low temperatures. The silicone seals used in virtually all connectors today are either free-floating or held in place by a plastic ring, which itself can be removed. While pressure from the mating part pressing against the seal is supposed to hold it secure, these loose silicone seals can easily get dislodged and migrate into the system. When these slippery silicone seals get dislodged you get air and oil vapor leakage. Or worse, a loose seal floating around in your intake manifold. The FOXX Connector features our exclusive FOXXTrap integrated silicone seal that is molded into to the interior of the connector, so it won’t become dislodged or migrate into the system. This eliminates potentially costly warranty issues. When the ductwork is pressed into the connector, it presses against the seal, thereby preventing any cold start air or oil leakage, even in temperatures as cold as -40°F! FoxxTrap Silicone Seals are integrated into the connector. SURLOXX QUICK-CONNECT, 4-POINT RETAINING SYSTEM Quick-connect design with four points of retention for a better VDA connection. FOXX Connector universally mates with all standard VDA-style connectors via our SurLOXX quick-connect system. The connection is simply made by pressing the duct into the connector until the four SurLOXX retaining clips catch in the VDA groove. While other connectors have two or three retention points, the four points of retention on a FOXX Connector provide a more reliable connection. The SurLOXX system holds firmly into the ducting and tight against the FOXXTrap silicone seal inside the joint, yet is easily removed for maintenance or repair.
